Michael Douglas worries his six-year-old daughter "isn`t normal" because of the way she behaves
The star has six-year-old Carys and son Michael, nine, with his wife Catherine Zeta Jones. He has previously admitted he worries about what Carys will be like as a teenager as she already enjoys "shaking it pretty good" when she dances.
Catherine has now revealed Michel can?t stop fretting about Carys, and is concerned she has something wrong with her because she?s growing up so fast. "When my daughter dances around and cavorts like she?s 14, even though she?s six ? my husband does question, ?Do all little girls do that or is there something wrong with our daughter? Is that normal,? Catherine laughed. "I go, ?Yeah, I guess it?s normal. I don?t know, I?ve never had a daughter before! I guess so?? "
Catherine, 40, added she and Michael, 65, share parenting duties. She dislikes it when people praise her for juggling parenthood with her career, explaining she actually has it a lot better than lots of women.
When she won the part in Broadway play A Little Light Music, her whole family moved to New York so they could be together. "People say to me a lot, ?How?d you do it all? How?d you do it as a woman? You?re a wife, you?re a woman, you?re working.? And I say, ?I?m not the first woman to actually have children and work and be a wife. I?m not,? " Catherine told US interviewer Rachael Ray.
